The 33rd Bungendore Country Music Muster will be held at the Showground on the 3rd and 4th of February 2018. Organising is well underway with a great line-up of artists and musicians. The guest list includes two great Country Music Bands: The Bungendore Infigen Muster Band led by Waddo, and the ever popular Peter Coad and the Coad Sisters. There is a fantastic line-up of Australian bush Balladeers including the wonderful Brian Leeton, Owen Blundell, Terry Gordon, Ernie Constance, Justin Standley, Keith Jamieson, Reg Poole, Charmaine Pout, and Di Lindsay and Peter Simpson. We are also excited to have entertainer, singer and songwriter Rodney Vincent and The Sheik from Scrubby Creek, Chad Morgan providing their very special brand of entertainment at this year’s Muster.
Nominations for the 2018 Stan Coster Memorial Australian Bush Ballad Awards are open with a large number of high quality nominations already received. Nominations close on the 1st of October and the finalists will be announced shortly after.
Gates open for campers and caravans to the Bungendore showground on Monday 29th January 2018 with a full week of walk ups for campers and invited artists until Friday 2nd February. The Bungendore showground offers campers access to good amenities and plenty of power in this idyllic country setting. Saturday the 3rd February the village of Bungendore hosts a busking competition followed at 1pm by the all Australian country music festival at the showground. The Stan Coster Australian Bush Ballad Awards commence at 8.00pm with performances from the 24 finalists in each of the seven categories. The festival wraps up on the Sunday with a gala showcase of award winners from 10.00am – 6.00pm.
